My Celadon Ad
I took this picture of the veggies from my garden and thought it was like the one we have for Celedon, so I had to share it.

Unbelievable Results
Submitted by nchapman on Mon, 02/09/2009 - 11:19pmI would like to say thank you to everyone at Vitalife Fitness for enabling us with state of the art tools to share our community. All we have to add is the belief that it can be done! Recently one of the young physicians at my hospital began taking Celedon. She seems to be be happy with the results. Last Friday she refused to believe that it was my 60th Birthday. Her comment was, " I think I will continue taking those vitamins!" I think I will keep on taking them too. Having shared Vitafit with 10 people, I will find 10 more, and 10 more after that. Good things need to be shared.

Olympic Moment
I am Nancy Chapman. I live in Wharton, Texas, about 50 miles southwest of Houston. My favorite olympic sport has alway been gymnastics. When I was young I would try to turn flips like Olga Korbit, and Nadia Comanich, but never could. Who was not awestruck when Mary Lou Retton stole our hearts with that smile and a perfect 10? I still try my hand at a cartwheel-when no one is looking- and I will always be a gymnist wanna-be!
My Buddy Susan
My buddy, Susan, owns a boutique with her friend of 40 years. Both are nurses who I know are very caring people. Because of a back injury and surgery, Susan is not able to walk long distances. She has a personal trainer who is helping her get the strength back in her muscles. The challenges with the Vitalifefitness Center have helped give her motivation. Susan also helps her elderly parents who live nearby. She has retired from nursing, but has plenty to keep her very busy.
I am glad to get to know my buddy, Susan.

Competition!
Submitted by nchapman on Sun, 08/26/2007 - 11:23amNot wanting to be upstaged by our buddy Gay Jones who has been posting 3 and 4 miles walks, while we have been doing 2 miles, Scott and I took our lab Tyler and headed to the beach yesterday to do our walk. It was a normal HOT August day in Texas, but the breeze off the ocean was cool and we walked 4 miles. It was a lot easier than walking the country roads we usually do, and Tyler had a blast playing in the waves. Now Gay, don't go upping the ante by doing 5 miles.....then you will have to catch up to Cindy Winkenwerder by yourself!
Rain Rain Go Away
Submitted by nchapman on Thu, 07/05/2007 - 8:10amIt is raining again this morning. It stopped yesterday long enough for people to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks. Scott and I had to walk so we just got our umbrellas and walked in the rain. We got soaked, but we walked! We scouted the ditches as we walked for boards and stuff to start building an ark.
I wish we could send these clouds over to Alabama where rain is needed.

April Competition
Congratulations to all who are participating in the April competition. I do not have an IPod or the Nike link, so I will have to motivate myself to keep up with you. I will be your cheering section from the sidelines. Here's to your improved fitness and good health!![]()

Jogging Is Not In My Vocabulary
The commitment of all in the group to get fit and healthy is wonderful. May you all enjoy your running/jogging, I will continue with my walking. Scott and I have been walking 2 miles at least 3 times a week. Working late and other obstacles sometimes hinder our efforts, but we have been pretty faithful walkers for over 2 years now. One of our memorable hikes was to the top of Enchanted Rock in 100 degree heat. These 2 old foggies passed up a lot of younger hikers!
